Custom Physical Therapy is Open! We know how important physical therapy is for overall health and well being during these challenging times and we are here ready to serve you.
We are keeping up with CDC recommendations to keep you safe and prevent the spread of COVID 19. Here are some of the steps we are taking for your protection: -Requiring all staff members and patients to wear face coverings at all times -Staggering therapist’s schedules to minimize patients in the waiting room. -Treating each patient in private treatment rooms -Constantly sanitizing all surfaces/tables/equipments -Washing hands before and after every patient.
We ask that if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 such as shortness of breath, cough or fever, please stay home. You will not be charged a cancellation fee.

To Our Valued Patients:
Given the recent outbreak of COVID-19, many people are unable to attend their regularly scheduled medical appointments like physical therapy. Physical therapists have been deemed “essential health care” as we can play an important role in reducing the overall health burden on hospitals and doctor’s offices.
Custom Physical Therapy now has online telehealth platform ability. This telehealth tool will allow you to access your provider and receive care in the event you are unable to access the clinic.

Telehealth can be used for follow up appointments, wellness check-ins, exercise progression and alteration, and even as initial evaluations and treatments.
All that is needed on your part is a computer or smartphone. Each therapist and patient can discuss what platform is best for you to work with. Telehealth physical therapy is covered by all insurances, including Medicare, and there is no extra fee.

I have been practicing yoga for over twenty years and have been teaching yoga to groups and individuals in clinical settings and privately for about ten years. I care deeply about yoga and about my students. My goal is to make yoga an adaptable practice, available to those with physical limitations whether through injury, illness or age. Recently, as an adjunct to yoga, I completed a certification course in Foundation Training, which is a series of movements, created by a chiropractor, Dr. Eric Goodman, that can help reduce pain, increase strength and improve mental function. I am excited to share these movements with my students as well.”
