Christina's favorite part of being a physical therapist is seeing the empowerment patient's gain once they learn how to achieve and many times surpass the function they had lost. She says "it's exciting to see patients gain confidence and control of their physical health by learning how to promote healing, train deficient muscles, create better postural habits, and correct improper body mechanics." Christina enjoys treating all orthopedic conditions from the neck and spine to upper and lower extremities as well as all pelvic conditions both female and male and pregnancy related conditions.
Christina has a BS in Health Sciences and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Andrews University. She has experience treating a variety of diagnoses and populations throughout the United States working several years as a travel physical therapist. She has completed the Level I and II NAIOMT (North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual therapy) continuing education courses on the Cervical Spine, Lumbar Spine, Thoracic Spine, Lower Extremity and Upper Extremity. She worked for two years at Folsom Physical Therapy & Training Center under the mentorship of Michael Moore PT and Tim McGonigle PT and completed two years of their Post-Graduate Orthopedic PT Continuing Education Series. She has furthered her post-graduate education in treating male and female pelvic floor as well.
Outside of work she enjoys playing tennis, badminton, volleyball, hiking, and traveling the world. Christina is bilingual in English and Spanish.
